Conyers Tells Rob Kall: Impeachment Not Off the Table; A You Tube Video make sure you watch the video. It was a pretty intense toe to toe conversation. I know I enjoyed it and I think Conyers did too. There's a moment, when he reminds me who in congress has more experience with impeachment than anyone else, when he seems quite amused. Make sure to read the commentary AFTER the script, and note that I added to it, if you commented on the article, criticizing Conyers. You'll want to read what I've written. I promise to follow up on this conversation, with Conyers, Kucinich and others.

So if you are serious about a"tough on drugs'legislation, then it needs to go after the "legal" dealers also.

Star Wars alert! New 'Clone Wars' video

Her "Back to Black" album was one of the longest-running chart successes of the year. She garnered six nominations for this year's awards, and she seems a sure bet to win in this category. Paramore has a slight shot at pulling an upset.

Who Should Win: Amy Winehouse. Too often found topping the tabloids with her real-life tales of the song that helped make her a star, "Rehab," Winehouse may not be the person you want to bring home to mom, but her retro-soul style proved to be a thoroughly refreshing sound on the airwaves this year.

Councilwoman's change of venue request denied

Clearly were disappointed, Kelleys attorney, Lisa Gygax of Forestville, said after the brief hearing.

However, Gygax noted that the judge expressed a willingness to reconsider the issue if new facts come forth. The attorney said if jurors are aware of the press coverage, she is prepared to renew the motion.

Prosecutors had opposed Kelleys motion. Deputy District Attorney Tom Gotshall said in court Thursday that Sonoma Countys population of nearly 500,000 residents would provide an adequate pool of impartial jurors.

The judge set a trial date of March 25. If convicted on the vandalism charge, Kelley could be sentenced to a year in jail and fined $10,000.

Kelley also faces misdemeanor drunken-driving charges stemming from an arrest in May in Guerneville.

Road-Warrior Sharks Beat Slumping Red Wings, 3-2

I know it popped up somewhere, didn't know where," Setoguchi said. "The next thing I know it comes down on my stick and I put it in." The rookie wing, recalled Thursday from the minors, scored for the third time this season in his initial game after being called up. "Every time we bring him up, he's a little bit more of a professional," Wilson said. "Let's hope he doesn't have to go back down." Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said it was unfortunate the officials didn't stop the play when the puck cleared the glass. "It hit the net, rolled down the boards and rolled out in front," Babcock said. "When you look at the video, it seems real obvious." Detroit defenseman Brad Stuart, acquired from Los Angeles just before Tuesday's trading deadline, made his debut and provided the hard-hitting presence the Red Wings' depleted blue line needs.

Canada's little case of election envy

In an apartment nearby, Jared Bland had friends over for a gourmet three-course meal and to gaze at the cathode-ray glow of a television tuned to state-by-state results.

On the west coast, University of Victoria students planned to dress as their favourite U.S. presidential candidates and eat organic Huck-a-Burgers as CNN's primary broadcast blared in the background. "There are more people interested in Super Tuesday than the Super Bowl," said the party's host, Mark Stephenson, who was going to dress as Barack Obama.

Big block at end gives Gilbert boys BL crown

Second-seeded Gilbert, 21-2, bounced back from a 14-4 first-quarter deficit with an all-court, harassing defense, sturdy work under the boards and six 3-pointers.The top-seeded Cowboys, 19-3, went through the second and third periods scoring just nine points. At the same time, led by the outside shooting of Jim Bunel and Adam Vaccari, the Yellowjackets slowly built a lead that reached 40-31 with four minutes left in the game.To their credit, the Cowboys, who beat Gilbert twice during the regular season, mounted a furious comeback and had a shot to win or tie as time ran out. But Gilbert's Diego Cevallos, who came into the contest with only 15 seconds left when Bunel fouled out, blocked Tim Deacon's shot in the paint to secure the win. .

Desperate girlfriends? Eva Longoria of "Desperate Housewives" has some advice for fellow Texan Jessica Simpson. Both have lost their hearts to "No. 9" Texas Tonys, People.com points out. And both have been called a jinx for their pro athlete beaus.

"When I first started dating Tony, I got the same flak," Longoria told People about now-husband Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs. "If he had a bad game, it was my fault ... if he had a good game, it wasn't because of me."

Simpson caught the same flak over her Dallas Cowboys hottie.

Globalisation of Funds a Strategic Priority but Expansion Still in ...

BOSTON, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- According to a new report whose publication is sponsored jointly by Citi and Legg Mason, fund managers have rapidly ventured abroad in this decade in search of new clients and higher returns. The pace of this expansion has accelerated lately as pension restrictions are lifted in emerging economies and pension clients increasingly want all- inclusive global mandates. Retail clients are more interested in funds with universal themes, and new wealth generation is creating the opportunity for more retail clients around the world to invest. The US still remains the industry's epicentre but Europe and Asia are its new growth engines.

As half the assets have come to be held outside the domestic markets, significant capability has been created in over 70 countries via a mix of new starts, organic growth, M&As and local alliances.

Specimens in BODY WORLDS Exhibitions Stem Primarily from German Body ...

HEIDELBERG, Germany, Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Institute for Plastination commends ABC's 20/20 for its investigation on the origin of bodies on display in public anatomical exhibitions. The program served to inform and educate the public about anatomical exhibitions in general, and the origins of bodies used in anatomical exhibitions in particular.

However, the Institute for Plastination wishes to clarify two vague statements made by anatomist, Dr. Gunther von Hagens to 20/20, that may have confused Associated Press, other media, and the public about the origin of the bodies in BODY WORLDS exhibitions.

In the interview conducted entirely in English (Dr. von Hagens' second language), he said that he had "stopped using bodies from China," and that "he had cremated some bodies that showed head injuries." His incomplete statements -- presented without context or chronology -- led some to conclude that he had once used Chinese bodies in the BODY WORLDS exhibitions, and had since ceased to do so.

No. 7 Stanford Tops Washington, 73-53

Stanford needs a win Sunday at lowly Washington State to wrap up at least a share of its eighth straight Pac-10 title, no matter what No. 9 California does at Washington. A win against the Cougars would also give Stanford the top seed in the Pac-10 tournament.

Wiggins has 2,400 career points, pulling within 14 of Lisa Leslie's conference record of 2,414. Wiggins overcame a sluggish start to make nine of 18 shots and grabbed 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Her final points came when she stopped a Washington fastbreak with a steal and sprinted the length of the court for a left-handed layup with five minutes left.

Jayne Appel scored 12 and Kayla Pedersen added 11 as the Cardinal (26-3, 15-2) won their 14th straight.

Andrea Plouffe led Washington (12-17, 7-10) with 11 points, but the Huskies shot just 28 percent and scored only 17 second-half points.

Kings notes: Bibby adjusting to Atlanta

Bibby said he's more than comfortable with the pressure on him.

"I want it to be on my shoulders," he said before the game. "I'll take the blame. Not many people can say that. I'll take the blame."

Woodson said there's no better approach than Bibby's.

"That's a good starting point," he said. "He's a 10-year (veteran) who's (under) a lot of pressure to come in and help us get to the playoffs, and that's huge. A lot of guys would run from it. For him to say those things says a lot about his character and how he feels about playing this game."

There were plenty of games inside the game, especially between Bibby and Francisco García late. García repeatedly bumped Bibby on the floor while wearing a guilty grin during dead-ball moments and even pretended to lose his way during Bibby's fourth-quarter free throws in an attempt to distract him.
